INDIANOLA — Simpson College Trustees have announced an interim president who will take over in the new year.
Bob Lane, the Vice President of College Advancement, has been named to the post.
The college said Lane’s new role takes effect January 1.
Outgoing President Jay Simmons will transition to a support role until a new president is named.
A new leader of Simpson College will be named when the Board of Trustees votes to approve the appointment.
