Greta Van Fleet, Brett Young join 2024 Iowa State Fair Grandstand lineup

Tickets for both concerts go on sale Friday, March 8 at 10 a.m.

DES MOINES, Iowa — The Iowa State Fair has announced the last two Grandstand performances, rounding out the lineup for this summer's concert series. 

Rock band Greta Van Fleet will stop at the fairgrounds on Aug. 11 as part of its Starcatcher World Tour. The band will be joined by the Canadian Rock band The Beaches. 

The Grammy award-winning band is best known for its song "Meeting the Master". The band's world tour begins March 16 in Mexico City and ends in the same city in the early fall. 

Tickets are estimated to cost around $45 to $90. 

On Aug. 12, country pop singer Brett Young will perform with rock band NEEDTOBREATHE. 

Young holds seven No. 1 hits for songs like "In Case You Didn't Know", "Mercy" and "Sleep Without You". His second studio album "Ticket to L.A." dominated the Billboard County Albums chart in 2018.

Young's stop in Des Moines will come a year after his most recent album "Across the Sheets" and ahead of his DANCE WITH YOU tour which starts in September. 

Grammy-nominated rock band NEEDTOBREATHE will take the stage on Aug. 12 as well. Best known for songs such as "Multiplied" and "Hard Love", the band's stop at the fairgrounds come as part of its CAVES world tour.

Tickets to see Young and NEEDTOBREATHE are estimated to be $35 to $60.
