Iowa State Fair announces next 2 artists to join 2025 Grandstand lineup

Tickets for both concerts go on sale Friday, Dec. 13 at 10 a.m.

DES MOINES, Iowa — The countdown to the Iowa State Fair is on, and organizers just announced the next two artists to join the 2025 Grandstand lineup.

Christian musician Forrest Frank and rising country artist Megan Moroney will perform on Thursday, Aug. 7 and Saturday, Aug. 9 respectively.

The Frank is an up-and-coming contemporary Christian singer known for songs such as "NO LONGER BOUND" and "GOD IS GOOD." His most recent album, "Child of God", debuted at the top of the Billboard Top Christian Albums list.

Frank was also recently named "New Artist of the Year" at the GMA Dove Awards. He is nominated for three 2024 Billboard Music Awards.

The singer will be joined by special guest Lecrae, a Christian rapper and singer, on the Grandstand.

Moroney has plenty accolades of her own. After first bursting onto the country music scene in September 2022, the Georgia native released her debut album "Am I Okay?" in July 2024.

Moroney has quickly become a fan favorite for her storytelling skills and unique voice, even selling out her first headline tour in 2023. The 25-year-old recently won the title of "New Artist of the Year" at the CMA Awards.

Moroney will be joined by special guest Kameron Marlowe, a fellow country singer-songwriter.

Tickets for both concerts go on sale Friday, Dec. 13 at 10 a.m. Learn more at the Iowa State Fair website.
