A kitten that was brutally beaten with a bat earlier this month is making strides physically and financially.
More than $5,000 was raised by AHeinz57 Pet Rescue and Transport for Sunkist’s medical expenses, which included a leg amputation and jaw surgery.
The abuse story resulted in public outcry demanding to know who was responsible for beating the kitten.
According to AHeinz57, officials think they know who’s responsible but they’re still trying to help gather evidence for authorities to press formal charges.
