(CARLISLE) – Titan roofing wanted to give a new roof to a vet in need. They selected Vietnam veteran, Larry Hensley.
Hensley was a rifleman in the war and his division was exposed to agent orange. Hensley suffers from PTSD and other disabilities from the chemicals.
A percentage of Titan Roofing’s sales go to their non-profit called “The Titan Project.” The goal is to bring veterans together, so they can talk, maybe heal, and know they’re not alone.
The vets who started this organization say it’s that sense of community that understands, that is so important in helping veterans who’ve returned from war.
