WAUKEE – Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company is moving their current storage and distribution facility from Waukee to Des Moines.
Since 1989, the Waukee storage and distribution facility has been operating under the Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company. However, with a recently expanded territory footprint and an increase in product demand, Atlantic Bottling was in need of a larger facility.
The new facility will be located at 3600 Army Post Road in Des Moines. The Army Post Road location will more than quadruple current storage and distribution capacity within the Des Moines metro area.
The new Des Moines location will be shared with current tenant Marketlink, a telemarketing company. Plans are still in the works for what is to come of the Waukee building location.
In October of 2016 Atlantic Bottling acquired the distribution rights for most of the state of Iowa, including parts of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois and Missouri.
