WAUKEE – A massive project on the Waukee Trailhead is finally complete. The $1.1 million project titled “Waukee Railroad Pergola: In the Shadow of the Rails” will come to life at the ribbon cutting and lighting ceremony this Tuesday at 7 P.M.
The installation, which started as a vision in 2012, is located near the intersection of Hickman Rd. and 10th St. in Waukee. See the beautiful art piece and its LED features lit up at night for the first time this Tuesday.
