TAMA – It’s just about the worst thing that could happen at a meat processing plant. A worker got caught in the equipment at Iowa Premium Plant in Tama.
The 22 year old employee died from his injuries.
Police haven’t identified the man yet and the plant has not commented on the incident.
The Iowa Premium Plant reopened in the fall of 2014 after new owners purchased a former meat packing facility that had closed.
