New York Mayor and presidential candidate Bill de Blasio made his first campaign stop in Iowa today. He toured an ethanol refinery with former Iowa Governor and former U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack.
He met with ethnaol plant staff and learned more about ethanol production and it’s impact on the state. He also spoke to Iowans about the future of farming and the future of the rural economy.
De Blasio declared his candidacy for president this week.
