The Iowa center has served the people interested in owning or growing their own business for more than 30 years. They focus on providing direction to a network of resources that address critical skills including business planning, accounting and access to capital.
The Women’s Business Center arm of the Iowa Center provides multiple resources including industry-specific classes and small business loan portfolio management.
FIN Capital is first women’s angel investment network in Iowa and offers membership for accredited investors and entrepreneurs applications for investments. Additionally FIN Capital introduced a boot camp for Iowa women that are interested in investing called the Aspirant Series. The first event last fall with industry experts from both Iowa and the West Coast, their next event will take place this September.
