IOWA CITY, Iowa — It's been hard to come across a ticket to Sunday's Iowa vs. Ohio State women's basketball game. But Carver-Hawkeye Arena played host to some well-known athletes as Caitlin Clark broke Pete Maravich's record for all-time points in NCAA Division-1 basketball history.
Clark only needed 18 more points to reach 3,668 and set the record. She set the record just before halftime.
Take a look at some of the big names who made the trip to Iowa City.
Maya Moore
On a recent episode of "Sue's Places" on ESPN+, Clark said Moore inspired her the most as a young basketball player.
"I just idolized her," Clark said. "She was the end-all, be-all for me. Not only a great basketball, but a great person in general."
Lynette Woodard
Clark surpassed Woodard earlier this week for the most points in major college women's basketball history.
Nolan Ryan
