IOWA CITY, Iowa — Kadyn Proctor, the highly-touted 5-star recruit from Southeast Polk High School, is coming home.
After a year at Alabama under Nick Saban, who has since retired, the offensive tackle will play for Kirk Ferentz and the Iowa Hawkeyes.
"The return," Proctor posted to social media on Saturday.
Proctor originally committed to the Hawkeyes in June 2022 before flipping to Alabama just a few months later. He was ESPN's 10th-ranked prospect nationally in the Class of 2023. 247Sports ranked him No. 12 and Rivals had him at No. 14.
In his lone season with the Crimson Tide, Proctor was a starter all season and was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team.
