DES MOINES, Iowa — It's year two of girls high school wrestling in Iowa, and the sport just keeps on growing.
On Friday, girls across the state punched their ticket to the state tournament by participating in Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union wrestling super regionals.
Region 3 and Region 4 both held their events in Des Moines at Hy-Vee Hall.
The top four of each weight class will now advance to the state tournament on Feb. 1-2 in Coralville.
