NASCAR Cup Series returning to Iowa in 2025

“This is such an incredible win for NASCAR fans in the state of Iowa,” said Iowa Speedway President Eric Peterson in a press release.

NEWTON, Iowa — NASCAR fans, start your engines: The NASCAR Cup Series is returning to Iowa Speedway next year.

The weekend will kick off on Saturday, Aug. 2 with the Xfinity Series' Hy-Vee PERKS 250. The Iowa Corn 350 powered by Ethanol will cap off the weekend on Sunday, Aug. 3.

“This is such an incredible win for NASCAR fans in the state of Iowa,” said Iowa Speedway President Eric Peterson in a press release. “Thanks to their support, and the support from our partners at Iowa Corn and Hy-Vee, we sold out the entire NASCAR Cup Series weekend this year. We can’t wait to welcome them all back in 2025 for what promises to be another unforgettable weekend of racing at the Fastest Short Track on the Planet.”

The Iowa Speedway hosted its first ever NASCAR Cup Series race earlier this year. Defending series champion Ryan Blaney dominated the race, ultimately finishing 0.716 seconds ahead of William Byron for his 11th Cup victory.

In 2024, tickets for the 2024 Iowa Corn 350 powered by Ethanol sold out before officially going on sale. The Iowa Speedway encourages fans to renew their tickets for next season by Thursday, Nov. 7 to ensure their seats.

General admission tickets will go on sale Monday, Nov. 25.
