IOWA CITY, Iowa — No Caitlin Clark? No problem. The University of Iowa announced Wednesday that general public seating for the 2024-25 Iowa women’s basketball season is sold out.
The season sellout marks the second consecutive season that Iowa women's basketball has sold out, after the Hawkeyes accomplished the feat in 2023-24.
The Hawkeyes return in 2024-25 after earning national runner-up finishes in back-to-back seasons. Last season, the squad won a school-record 34 games.
Iowa will have a new look this season with longtime assistant Jan Jensen taking the reins as head coach following Lisa Bluder's retirement. Villanova transfer Lucy Olsen will succeed Clark as starting point guard and two starters return in Hannah Stuelke and Syndey Affolter. Other returning contributors include Addison O'Grady, Taylor McCabe and Kylie Feuerbach.
