Up next: The Hawkeyes will face Kansas on Nov. 20 at 6 p.m.

DES MOINES, Iowa — With Caitlin Clark in attendance, Iowa women's basketball defeated Drake 86-73 at the Knapp Center on Sunday.

With the win, the Hawkeyes remain undefeated on the season and improve to 4-0.

For Iowa's Jan Jensen, the day was even more special as this was the first time the former Drake player and assistant coach has been back at the Knapp Center since being named head coach.

But it wasn't easy for the Hawkeyes, as Drake's senior guard Katie Dinnebier and reigning Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year dropped a career-high 40 points. However, the rest of Drake struggles as no other Bulldog dropped more than seven points.

The Hawkeyes were led by senior center Addison O'Grady, who also had a career day, dropping 27 points and 10 rebounds. O'Grady earned her second career double-double.

Her performance in the first quarter, going 7-of-7 from the field, ties for third in a single quarter in program history.

Villanova transfer and senior guard Lucy Olsen followed with 18 points, going 7-of-15 from the field. Olsen has had a hot start with the black and gold, tallying double-digit points in all four career games with Iowa.

After leading the team in Wednesday's win against Toledo, junior forward Hannah Stuelke added 16 against Drake.

Freshman guard Teagan Mallegni also registered a career-high 13 points.

Although the game was close, Iowa has dominated against Drake, winning 20 of the last 21 matchups.

The Hawkeyes were devasting in the paint, outscoring Drake 46-10.

Iowa will hit the road again, looking to stay undefeated against Kansas at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Nov. 20 at 6 p.m.
