DES MOINES, Iowa — A stretch of 2nd Avenue in the Highland Park neighborhood will be closed due to a water main break that occurred Wednesday, Des Moines police announced.
All lanes of 2nd Avenue between Hull Avenue and Tiffin Avenue will remain closed as the main is repaired.
DMPD says the closure is expected to last several days.
E. 14th Street is suggested as the next best north and south alternative.
