DALLAS COUNTY, Iowa — A Fort Dodge man is dead after an ATV crash Sunday evening, according to the Dallas County Sheriff's Office.
The ATV crashed around 7:30 p.m. on April 2 near the intersection of 170th Street and North Avenue in rural Dallas County.
32-year-old Sean Springer died on the scene. The passenger was injured, but not seriously enough to be taken to a hospital via ambulance.
Investigators believe alcohol and the ATV's speed might have played a part in the crash, but the official cause has not yet been released.
Springer has been transported to the State Medical Examiner's Office.
