URBANDALE, Iowa — A semi crash on Interstate 80/35 westbound caused significant traffic delays Thursday morning.
Iowa 511 reported the two left lanes on eastbound I-80/35 were blocked due to a crash between IA 28 and Exit 129 (Northwest 86th Street) in Urbandale.
Traffic cameras show major backups on both sides of the interstate. As of 9:25 a.m., Iowa 511 shows a three-minute delay for eastbound traffic and a 10-minute delay for westbound traffic.
Drivers traveling westbound are being directed to get off the interstate at Exit 131 and follow the provided detour.
