CHARITON, Iowa — A 14-year-old is dead following an ATV crash on Wednesday, according to an Iowa State Patrol crash report.
The Lucas County Sheriff's Office responded to reports that a teenage driver had been seriously injured in an ATV accident on 190th Avenue. around 4 p.m. Wednesday.
The driver was taken to the Lucas County Health Center, where he died of his injuries.
Iowa State Patrol has identified the driver as 14-year-old Alex Oxenreider.
