DES MOINES, Iowa — An adult male cyclist has been transported to the hospital with serious injury after being hit by a car on the 2300 block of Hubbell Avenue Monday, Des Moines police announced on X.
Temporary lane reductions are in place as DMPD's Traffic Unit is on scene.
According to officials, while the injuries are severe, they do not appear to be life threatening.
