MILLERSBURG, Iowa — One person is dead and another is injured following a single-vehicle crash in rural Iowa County, according to an Iowa State Patrol crash report.
53-year-old Jeanne Kashindi of Des Moines was driving east on F52 Trail in Millersburg when she failed to stop at the intersection with H Avenue just before 7 a.m. Tuesday, Iowa State Patrol said.
From there, Kashindi entered a downhill driveway into a gravel storage area. The car hit some broken pieces of concrete before landing on the driver's side.
Authorities said Kashindi was pronounced dead at the scene.
An 18-year-old passenger suffered injuries in the crash and was taken to the hospital.
The accident remains under investigation.
