The new additions bring the airport's total number of nonstop destinations up to 33.
The airline will still serve travelers at ABIA, but base operations will stop at the start of next year.

DES MOINES, Iowa — Planning a trip out east will soon be a little easier for Iowans.

The Des Moines International Airport is adding two nonstop routes from Allegiant Air, expanding its list of destinations to include Jacksonville, Florida and Boston, Massachusetts.

The new additions bring DSM's total number of nonstop destinations up to 33, the most the airport has ever offered.

"The addition of these routes reflects our commitment to expanding travel options for our passengers, offering greater connectivity at affordable prices," said DSM Executive Director Kevin Foley. "With 33 nonstop destinations now available, DSM continues to grow as a vital hub for travelers in Iowa and beyond."
