DES MOINES, Iowa — Editor's Note: The video above is from May 2021.

This weekend is Independence Day, which means the Des Moines Regional Transit Authority will have a modified bus schedule.

As with other holidays, no bus services are scheduled for Sunday, July 4. Administrative offices will be closed both on Sunday and Monday for the holiday.

However, bus services will run on July 3 and 5 as normal.

A quick reminder for those heading to the Downtown Farmers' Market— the free D-Line shuttle will run on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to accommodate riders traveling to and from the market.
