Here's how much rain fell in central Iowa the past 2 days

Here's a look at your 48 hour rain totals as of 8 a.m. Thursday.

DES MOINES, Iowa — A stalled out front in Iowa has brought 48 hours of hit-or-miss rain to central Iowa. Totals have ranged from a lot to a little. Unfortunately, areas in southeastern Iowa new to the 'Abnormally Dry' category saw little.

This front lifts north today as the rain and storms associated with it dwindle down to isolated. This boundary eventually stalls along the Iowa-Minnesota border bringing additional rain and storm chances to the north through Saturday morning.
