DES MOINES, Iowa — Another round of severe weather is coming to Iowa, just days after at least 19 tornadoes touched down, causing widespread damage and at least one casualty.
The Local 5 Weather Team forecasts storms will arrive in central Iowa from the west after 4 p.m. Tuesday, bringing with it threats of hail, winds and possible tornadoes.
More rain is expected on Wednesday and Thursday.

Watches and Warnings
A Tornado Warning was in effect in the following areas:
- Bloomfield (9 p.m.)
- Pulaski (9 p.m.)
- Drakesville (9 p.m.)
A Tornado Watch was in effect for western Iowa and parts of Nebraska until 10 p.m.
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was in effect for the following areas:
- Ottumwa (9 p.m.)
- Albia (9 p.m.)
- Eldon (9 p.m.)
- Melrose (8:45 p.m.)
- Hiteman (8:45 p.m.)
- Chariton (8:45 p.m.)
- Russell (8:45 p.m.)
- Lovilia (8:45 p.m.)
