UPDATE 5:30 p.m.
According to West Des Moines police, someone doing work in the area found a middle-aged man’s body Tuesday afternoon. The scene was cleared after a few hours of investigators processing it.
Police are not releasing how the body was found or the condition of the man’s body when investigators came on the scene. The body is being taken to the medical examiner’s office. Police said that this is an ongoing investigation, but that no further updates will be given on Tuesday.
