The greater the Storm(y), the brighter the rainbow! Stormy the five year old pit bull is the opposite of her name. This ray of sunshine spends her days spreading the joy and warmth of dog cuddles! Stormy tends to be a bit clumsy when meeting new people and is always falling over to ask for belly rubs. Despite this endearing quirk, Stormy has been waiting for her forever family since June. She's looking for an active, mature home.
"She'd love to go for runs and jogs and trips and excursions," smiles Cat McAuliffe, Therapets Coordinator at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa (ARL), "the whole bit."
Sweet Stormy already knows sit and down, but she's ready to learn even more tricks. All she asks for in return is treats! Like most pups, Stormy will benefit from obedience training. Lucky for her new owner, the ARL offers training classes for dogs of every age and skill level. Pet parents who adopted from the ARL even receive a discount!
