Calm, cool and... cuddly? Jarvis the two year-old beagle mix loves meeting new friends and collecting as many scratches as possible. His personality shined through on camera and he was adopted immediately after his Iowa Live appearance!
"He loves every single person he's ever met," smiles Kathryn Vry, Animal Behavior and Enrichment Specialist at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa. "When he gets uncomfortable, he'll find a toy and he'll carry it around."
While Jarvis may have already found his furr-ever home, there are countless homeless pets waiting for their families at the ARL. The Animal Rescue League cares for a wide range of animals, from cats and dogs to guinea pigs and chickens, each one with their own unique needs. Right now, donations will be matched dollar for dollar - up to $250,000 - thanks to the Kruidenier Charitable Foundation. Gifts will go toward funding the ARL's new ranch, and renovating old facilities to assist with intakes. Consider donating today to double your impact.
