Bigfoot has been found! And he's adoptable now at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa | Paid Content

Score with the Des Moines Menace at Youth Soccer Night tomorrow, or invite your furry companion to Paws on the Pitch next week! | Paid Content

Attention cryptozoologists, Bigfoot has been found! And he's a good boy! A playful pup one minute, and cuddlebug the next, Bigfoot is a companion dog through and through. When given the chance to get up close and personal with his favorite soccer players, Marc Torrellas and Peter Pearson from the Des Moines Menace he jumped on their laps without hesitation. Torrellas and Pearson even had to dodge some kisses.

"He's kind of a goofball," gushed KC Routos, Director of Development & Communications at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa. "He's just a happy go-lucky guy."

Bigfoot will thrive in an active household and is ready to be your running partner! Be warned his playstyle is a bit rough and tumble, so he'll do best with a family who can match his energy. But at the end of the day, it's all about you for this dog. Bigfoot's biggest desire is to spend time cuddling with the people that he loves.

Adopters can enjoy discounted rates this weekend at the ARL. You can bring a cat or dogs 6+ months old home for just $25 during the Adopt Mor Catz Adoption Event. All animals are microchipped, vaccinated and spayed/neutered before adoption. Previous Iowa Live animal guests Captain and Ruby are still waiting for their forever home.
